Frequently Asked Questions!

If your unsure, ALWAYS ask. It better to over ask questions and be prepared then to no it be sure of what to expect!

While getting ready on wedding day there is a lot of things going on at once. The following are some key questions that I have been asked numerous times. Being prepared will eliminate any day of chaos.

Q: How long will each person take?

A: Each person takes approximately 20-30 minutes for hair and 30-40 minutes for makeup.

Q: Can I do a pre-wedding trial before I commit to a contract?

A: You can absolutely have your trial before booking your wedding day. I want you to feel confident in your beauty decision. However, I always like to remind brides that your wedding date is not secure until you have submitted a signed contract. Dates are a first come basis and will not be held longer than 10 days pending contract!

Q: When should I book my trial?

A: Ideally your trial should be booked 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding date. You want your trial to be after you have decided on other key details (dress, veil, accessories) Brides who do trials too early often typically change their mind as other details come together. While you are able to do another trial if you wish, it does cost money every time!

Q: When should I book my day of wedding services for hair and makeup?

A: As soon as possible! Please refer to post When Should I Book my Services. Everything is first come first serve and I do book clients over a year in advance.

Q: What do I need to do to book?

A: Sign a contract and submit your deposit of 25% or 610-202-9902

Q: Do I need to know everyone that is requiring services at the time of booking?

A: It is best to know exactly who will need services. While I know sometimes bridesmaids and family are difficult to get final answers form so far in advance, it’s best to have as close of an estimate as possible. We sometimes rate able to accommodate add on people however, it doesn’t always work out!

Q: Have you worked will all ethnicities?

A: Yes! I have trained and worked with many different hair and skin types/tones!

Q: I only need hair or makeup (not both). Am I am to still book?

A: Absolutely! I work with multiple artists and companies. I am happy to provide you with whatever services are convenient for you!

Q: Should I have pictures?

A: Yes, Pictures are the best way to see what your style and esthetic is.

Q: What kind of products do you use?

A: I use high quality professional grade products. This ensures long lasting style and glamorous finish. My kit has a strong range of brands.

Q: Do I need to bring Bobby pins?

A: It’s amazing to me how many people actually ask this question! NO way is my answer. A professional should never expect you to supply your own Bobby pins.

Q: What do I need to bring?

A: You only need to bring whatever accessories you wish to have! If you want or require hair extensions for a style, then you must supply them as well!

Q: When you arrive at my location, what do you need from me?

A: An outlet, Small table space, and a stool! A well lit area is best or natural lighting!

Q: Should my hair be clean or dirty?

A: You have should be slightly dirty! A day old is best! I’d you are someone who needs to wash, freshly washed hair shouldn’t be flat ironed. The only exception to this rule is for ethnic non-relaxed hair.

Q: How long will my spray tan last?

A: Typically Sunless Tans last about 7 days. It is important to follow the proper pre tan exfoliating and post tan moisture.

Q: I’ve had a very bad tanning experience. Will my tan be orange or streaky?

A: To receive the best results from your tan, it’s best to come freshly showered, shaved and exfoliated! DO NOT apply lotions or perfumes prior to getting sprayed. Remove all jewelry and makeup! Use deodorant sparingly! You tan will not be streaking or orange, we offer custom color matching for your skin tone. DO NOT use a loofa or exfoliator after your spray tan, this will cause your skin to look uneven.

Q: When I showered my tan washed off! Is that normal?

A: Yes! The cosmetic coloring that you see when you initially get sprayed is a color guard. This is the color that gets darker throughout the day as your tan oxidizes. The cosmetic color will wash completely off when you shower and leave your tan looking fresh and natural! DO NOT use a loofa or exfoliator when showering after your tan!
